I present to you my video game styled "Rock & Roll" and "Fall" looks. I tried to stay within the original parameters of the game, especially with the Rock & Roll look, which is why it is a top and bottom only combo. To answer some of the questions about the game, it really isn't anything like Sims or I probably wouldn't be posting...It's not much like any of the games in it's genre. It's about following the fashion 'guidelines' in zero time flat and creating the best (read: highest scoring) outfits for your collection.
I also think it's a fitting time to introduce you to my 'ugly' boots. It probably isn't very good for their self esteem but I call these my ugly boots. They are warm, comfortable and quite army-esque in design. They are clunky and I've been loving them this winter in the less than desirable layer. (Winter storm that brought 30 cms, approx 11 inches, of snow, I'm talking to you.) I love the harder edge they bring, and they do have a bit of a heel but the sole is rubber and generally great to walk on. They are nice when my prettier-but-completely-useless-for-insulation-boots just aren't appropriate. So 'ugly boots' meet my readers, readers meet my 'ugly boots'.

I love those boots! Where'd you get them? I've been looking for a similar pair since like 2006.
I'm actually only learning Chinese. It's my minor. But, that might change. I don't think it's possible for me to be fluent in it in the next 4 years. I might go back to learning French (that was my language in high school). I'm taking a Japanese Politics course because it fits a "cross cultural" requirement at my school. The class sucks. Not because of the teacher, the teacher is awesome, but he gives soooo much work. I'm pulling my 2nd semi all-nighter in a row, so I am fully prepared for the 4 essays I have to write in his mid-term come thursday (we only have and hour and 55 minutes to write the 4 essay--oh and we have to include the 95 words he gave us). UGH! COLLEGE--DON'T DO IT! lol

I think it's imperative that we all have a pair of " ugly boots" that arent really ugly, you totally love them whether or not anyone else does.
The Fall look is provides such great contrast color wise and with the stripes. I especially like the boots.
